What we collect
When you create a Hello Maggie account, we collect your name and email address via Clerk (our authentication provider). If you add a payment method, payment details are handled by Stripe — we never store card numbers.
When visitors interact with your Hello Maggie widget, we collect the messages they send and any contact details they voluntarily share (name, phone, email). This data is stored securely and only accessible to you as the business owner.
How we use it
- To provide the Hello Maggie service — storing and displaying conversations and leads in your dashboard
- To send you lead notification emails and daily digest summaries
- To process subscription payments via Stripe
- To improve the product
Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with the services required to operate Hello Maggie:
Data retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at hello@hellomaggie.com.au.
Cookies
We use cookies only for authentication (managed by Clerk). The Hello Maggie widget uses localStorage to remember returning visitors — no third-party tracking cookies are set.
