What counts as a conversation?

A conversation is one continuous visit. It starts when a visitor first messages the widget and continues for as long as they keep the tab open — even if they navigate between pages on your site or close and reopen the chat panel. A new conversation is only counted when the visitor closes the browser tab and returns later, or opens a fresh session.

What happens when I reach my conversation limit?

Your widget keeps running but new conversations won't be started until the next billing period. You can also top up with 100 extra conversations for $30 at any time — no plan change needed.

Can I change plans anytime?

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time from your account settings. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing period.

Is there really no credit card needed for the trial?

Correct. You get 14 days and up to 200 conversations completely free — no card required. You only enter payment details when you choose to upgrade.

Do you offer refunds?

We don't offer refunds — that's what the 14-day free trial is for. You get 200 conversations to test Maggie on your real website before entering any payment details. If something is genuinely broken on our end, get in touch and we'll make it right.

What's the fair use policy on the Unlimited plan?

Unlimited means unlimited conversations — there's no cap. Fair use applies to unusual automated or non-human traffic (e.g., bots deliberately hitting your widget). Normal business use, however high-volume, is fully covered.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. No lock-in contracts, no cancellation fees. Cancel from your account settings whenever you like — your plan stays active until the end of the billing period.
